Welcome to the Cordova Towne Neighborhood Association website. This site exists for White Rock area residents of Rancho Cordova in order to help us communicate well and often, be informed, plan events, know what's going on throughout the neighborhood, and promote a strong sense of pride and ownership in our community. Together we can continue to help make Cordova Towne and the White Rock area a really great place to live. |

Have a look around our website to see what we have been up to and to get a pulse for our vision. If you are a resident of the White Rock area, one of the easiest ways to begin communicating together is to sign up for the Cordova Towne e-Group and subscribe to our blog. We encourage all residents to find simple and practical ways to help foster community and add value within our neighborhood. We are not looking to add one more thing in life in order to make residents busy, but rather to discover basic ways to partner together for the sake of building a stronger community. Please let us know if you have any questions, ideas, suggestions, or vision for the neighborhood. We look forward to both our present and future as a neighborhood and to joining together to make a difference. |

Neighborhood Softball Tournament: Thank you to all residents who made the first annual Rancho Cordova Softball Tournament a roaring success!!! We appreciate the way everyone pitched in to provide such a tremendous event for the community. Congratulations to one of the Anatolia teams for taking home the trophy. Thank you to the Rancho Cordova Post for sponsoring this event. If you are a White Rock resident and you would be interested in playing softball from time to time, please let us know. |

"Community Team": Residents have come together to form a “Community Team”. The purpose of this team is to help our neighborhood improve by communicating more effectively. The truth is that we will become stronger as a neighborhood as our communication gets better. Our plan is for a resident or group of residents in each section of the neighborhood to act as a “community contact”. These “contacts” will simply help communication flow on their street. This is a very easy role and we are looking for additional residents to become “community contacts” by being available every once in a while to people on your street. This is not about adding one more thing to your busy schedule, but about simplifying our strategy and doing very practical things together. If this idea resonates with you, please call 595-3735. |

The Rancho Cordova Post is a local online news source. The Post sponsored a recent neighborhood softball tournament which took place at our local neighborhood park (White Rock Park). We saw four teams come together in June 2009 to duke it out and have a wonderful time. Thank you to the Rancho Cordova Post for sponsoring events that make a difference in local neighborhoods. |
